A Slow Death After Quickly Downing a Litre and a Half of Soda

This is the cautionary tale of a young man, after getting very hot, had the terrible idea of rehydrating his body by downing the whole of a 1.5-litre bottle of soda in one. Admitted to the emergency department, he died a slow death. Although carbonated drinks (and even other drinks) can be refreshing and very pleasant during hot weather, they are not suitable for massive rehydration of the human body. This lack of discernment, as you might suspect, can have consequences that are… irreversible.
