He Sued a Bar over His Drunkenness and Won $5.5 Million

Owning a bar in the US can be financially ruinous. Daniel Rawls has just won the tidy sum of 4.6 million euros after having consumed more alcohol that was entirely sensible in a drinks outlet in Texas. In effect, he accused the bar of having got him drunk “against his will”. Leaving “La Fogata Mexican Grill” blind drunk, after having received a head wound in a drunken brawl, Daniel Rawls decided it was a good idea to offload the responsibility onto the bar, which, following the court ruling, has to pay him the pretty sum of 5.5 million US dollars.
