Breast Milk Produced from Mammary Cells

BIOMILQ, a North-American startup that already specializes in food technologies has just announced that it is behind the “world’s first cell-cultured human milk from mammary cells outside of the breast”.

A market of more than 100 billion dollars is what BIOMILQ’s two scientists have their eye on; the formula-milk industry has reason to be worried… or to celebrate, knowing that breast milk provides the perfect nutrition for newborns.
