Tokyo Olympics: Ban on Cheering and Alcohol

The organization of the Olympic Games in Japan may turn out to be more than a little irksome for the fans. After an initial postponement and a large-scale refusal among the Japanese to have the ancient tournament take place there in the midst of the pandemic, the local organizers of the sporting event decided to hold it under very strict conditions. Cheering during the competition will not be allowed, and alcohol consumption will also be banned. Supporters are asked to express “an inner celebratory joy”.
