Sitevi Exhibition: Capsules and Cages for Wine Bottles

At the world’s largest exhibition for wine materials, equipment, and services, capsules and wire cages for wine bottles are taking pride of place, with three innovations in the field. First of all, is digital printing on the metal capsules, and why not personalize the top of a grand cru? Next up is a fast “opening” method, with a pre-scored foil, which allows you to avoid any “struggles” (or even minor accidents) with the traditional corkscrew, when no blade is available; and finally, a “traditional” way of putting a capsule on bottle necks with 100% natural wax, which will probably lend an even more noble air to your vintage.
