Wine: End of the Chinese Dream

After the euphoria of the last decade, it would seem the initial Chinese love affair with wine has fizzled out all too soon. Having registered a drop of at least 50% in both consumption and  production in under five years, is “the Chinese Eldorado”, so prized by global wine producers, turning out to be a damp squib?
