Muddy bottles, torn labels, corks sealed with dried mud… These are the wines of the flood. A vintage that is selling at high prices out of love for German winemakers. Above all, it’s the result of a real surge of generosity where bottles considered “lost” after the recent floods are now being snatched up for sometimes as much three times the list price in “normal times”.
